Researcher Dataset (ICRG Table 2B – Composite Risk Only): Annual averages of the composite risk rating, an element of ICRG’s Table 2B, from 1984 through the last full calendar year. ICRG’s composite risk scores aggregate the political, financial and economic ratings for each country’s overall risk.

Researcher Dataset (ICRG Table 3B): Our most popular dataset, the original ICRG Researcher’s Dataset contains annual averages for each of the 12 components for Political Risk, from 1984 through the last full calendar year.

New ! Researcher Dataset (ICRG Table 3Ba): Our latest addition, contains annual averages of the 15 subcomponents of ICRG's Political Risk Ratings, from 2001 through the last full calendar year.

Researcher Dataset (ICRG Table 4B): Annual averages for each of the 5 components for Financial Risk, from 1984 through the last full calendar year.

Researcher Dataset (ICRG Table 5B): Annual averages for each of the 5 components for Economic Risk, from 1984 through the last full calendar year.

IRIS Dataset: A dataset developed in the 1990’s by Stephen Knack and Philip Keefer for the IRIS Center, University of Maryland. In its current form, IRIS-3 contains annual values for indicators of the quality of governance, from the period 1982-1997.

Campbell Harvey: As profiled in Barron’s, this dataset was constucted by Dr. Campbell R. Harvey and includes monthly composite, political, economic and financial risk ratings from ICRG. Harvey’s original study determined the excellent predictive value of ICRG risk measures in forecasting equity returns for international portfolio investment. (Jan. 1984–Sep. 1995).
